Where in the annual or quarterly reports can i find how much debt the company has and how can i determine if the debt is too much (risky to invest in the company) or not so much debt?
How do i find how much debt company has?
Look at the balance report (assets %26amp; liabilities). Debt is a liability.
Reply:If they are a public company, look at their financial statements. There is usually a link from their website to their financials. If they are not public, no way to know as they dont have to disclose this.
Reply:Look on the balance sheet for a line called total liabilities. That'll be the debt bit.
