Are court ordered payments to a collected included with the rest of your debt in a bankruptcy case?

I already had one debt collector sue me, which they cant collect on since Im on disability - and am for the foreseeable person, and I have other debt and am looking into declaring bancruptcy since it seems my only choice at this point ( otherwise, Ill just get sued again by the others ).. Will the court ordered debt be included on that? or is it exempt because it's court ordered...

Thanks

If you qualify for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, then in most cases your judgment would be discharged along with your other debt. There are instances where that is not true, but they usually include fraud and/or government agencies.

Your best bet is to speak with a bankruptcy attorney and get an idea of where you stand, if you think that this is the way that you want to go.
Reply:Yes you should include all debt even judgements.
