What is the best way to deal with debt if I have over 20,000 of debt and over 90 days late on 2 credit cards?

I am pretty much current on all my other bills except those 2 credit cards. I do however have a lot of debt and my other cards are maxed-out. each month it is harder to make ends meet, but I do not want to file bankruptcy. I can afford my mothly expenses once i get caught up I just have to reach that point. Suggestions please.

This is EXACTLY how to deal with this. Part of it is called a debt payoff snowball. It's easy.

This one audio clip of his CHANGED MY LIFE when I heard it.

Listen to this man for free, on the radio or online. This is like getting financial wisdom from Bill Gates except this guy has a national radio show.
Reply:Walk away. Congress is investigating the practice of credit card companies. If you are late just once, no matter how good your record is, they will jack your rate to thirty percent. Nice isn't it? Let them rot.
Reply:will cut down on like cable eating out and with that money u put toward that my whole check is going ti my two crdit cards i do min on one and the other big payment when thats paid off in 5 months then next will take me till feb or march 09 the more u pay the better and the sonner
Reply:Are you able to get some overtime or a part time job till you get caught up? Make sure you call the lender and work something out. If you want to keep this card you need to keep a line of communication

Edit.

No one is going to like what I am about to say and I don't know the hole story, however I have seen debt like this take over peoples life. You stated you owe a lot of money on other cards. How much? If you have 20k on two cards and other cards I'm guessing 30 - 40,000 thousand in credit card debt.

This is a snow ball effect and unless you know something I don't it's almost impossible to get out of. I suggest making a 5 year plan, and a budget. If you make a 5 year plan and your still not out of credit card debt (this is where their gonna hate me) you should think about walking away. Cause there is a good chance 5 years from now you could still have most of the debt throwing money out the window and nothing to show for it but bad credit. This way you can put your extra money in a savings account establish a safety net. You will be able to rebuild your credit.
Reply:The first step is to shred your credit cards and start paying cash for everything. Then try selling some stuff and getting a 2nd job. You can also look for a new home with lower rent.
